Currently, WMBF is holding a contest called “Pee Dee’s Best.” We are truly honored to have been nominated for Best Wedding Cake! But in order to win, we need your vote. Each person may only vote one time throughout the course of the contest. If you think we have the best wedding cake in the Pee Dee area, we would truly appreciate your vote. Here’s how you do it!

Then, click on Let Them Eat Cake! under the “3 Nominees for Best Cake” section. There will be a button labeled “Vote!” Click on that button. You will then be prompted to enter in your email address and create a password. This is totally safe and you won’t get spammed, it’s just so that they have a record of everyone who votes and they regulate that everyone only votes one time. Make sure you see confirmation thanking you for your vote – make sure your vote is counted!

In celebration of our grand opening, Let Them Eat Cake! will be holding an open house on Wednesday, November 2nd, from 11am to 4pm. Anyone is welcome to attend. Brides-to-be, bring your notebooks and take notes as this would be a great time to do a tasting!
We are located at 1249 Celebration Boulevard in Florence.

Hello cake lovers!
On Tuesday, October 18th, we at Let Them Eat Cake! had the privilege to have a booth in the 1st Annual Taste of Florence event. With proceeds benefitting The King’s Academy, this event was a wonderful showcase of local restaurants and crafts in Florence and a great excuse for the community to get together under one roof.
At our cake booth, we provided 3 flavors for the people to try (pictured below). We had:
* Dark Chocolate Cake with Cookies & Cream AND Chocolate Ganache fillings, iced with Chocolate Buttercream and covered with Dark Chocolate Fondant (a choco-holic’s dream!);
* Pumpkin Spice Cake with Pumpkin Cream Cheese filling, iced with Vanilla Buttercream and covered with Vanilla Buttercream Fondant; and
* Vanilla Almond Cake with Blueberries and Lemon Curd filling, iced with Vanilla Buttercream and covered with Vanilla Fondant.
We are thrilled to say that we nearly ran out of cake because of how many people stopped by our booth! And we had one very important guest stop by for a cake chat…Governor Nikki Haley!
At the end of the night, Let Them Eat Cake! was presented two awards: a People’s Choice Award for 2nd Place in Desserts, and a 3rd Place Best Booth award.
What a fun night with family and friends!
We are so excited to have been able to give the Florence community a real “taste” of what’s about to come when our shoppe opens (which should be in a week-ish).
